Moodle Teacher Certificate (MTC)

Learning.ac.nz have been working with Moodle to create the Moodle Teacher Certificate programme. Stuart Mealor (Managing Director of Learning.ac.nz) is also global Moodle Certification Manager, and Learning.ac.nz manage the global central Moodle certification administration. Full details of the Moodle Teacher Certificate can be viewed in the Moodle Certification course on www.moodle.org.

Two on-site courses are currently available in New Zealand:

'Moodle for Teachers' - onsite workshop
For those new to Moodle or e-teaching, who require a 'get up and running' type course (this is a non-technical course). This course can help prepare staff for the Moodle Teacher Certificate.
This course will also be available in a 100% online format at some point during the first half of 2007.

'Moodle for 'power-users' Advanced - onsite workshop
For existing users of Moodle, helpdesk staff, educational designers, IT staff, training and development sepcialists, existing Moodle users, and e-learning coordinators (this is a semi-technical course).
